2022 Christmas Parade
OLIVAS SALUTES NATIONAL NIGHT OUT "COUNTRY STYLE"
(Covid fatigue had Olivas ready for a rootin tootin good time. )
This year our National Night Out was Country Western and we had a ball!
We had an old fashioned chuck wagon BBQ with all the fixins!
Over 140 residents joined us for this evening of fun! Cowboy hats, boots and jeans were everywhere in spite of the warm monsoonal weather.
Once we got done eating, cookies were passed out and Ed Knott was there to spin some good old country music.
Residents joined in with some Electric Slide. Some residents moseyed over to throw some horseshoes and play Laderball.
You know it was a great night when cleanup was happening all around everyone still there. Many thanks to the fun team that worked hard to put on this event. Set your calendars for August 1, 2023 as Olivas celebrates our 5th annual National Night Out!

This year many homes have done a bang up job with decoration. We encourage you to take a walk or cruise around to look at all the houses.

The Fun team is looking for volunteers to help with decorating as well as setup for events. We have some fabulous events coming up and our tired hands could use a little help. If you would like to be a part of "event day helpers", we need you and would love you to answer this email!
The December Holiday season is just around the corner and you may want to start planning for your outside decorations and decorations for the lighted cart parade.

December 17th LIghted Holiday Cart Parade 6 pm

The Villages is going to have another e-waste collection date.... I will let you know the date soon. Also they are looking into another dumpster to get rid of unwanted items. More information to follow!
